For 24 years our founders Shirley and Len Price worked to advance the art and science of aromatherapy to a point where it attracted the serious attention of medical professionals, work continued today by Dr Jane Buckle.
Shirley Price Aromatherapy continues to teach nurses and midwives a practical one week course led by Madelaine Knapp Hayes. The Shirley Price Aromatherapy Practicioner Diploma and Workshops in Holistic skincare and Cosmetic making are led by Jan Benham MIFPA.
Dr Jane Buckle has done so much to advance the aromatherapy profession in the United States. 42 hospitals now use aromatherapy as a routine part of their procedures.
Partnerships with health professionals throughout the world has led to further
research and progress.
This information is continuously taught and advanced by the Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy and its satellite and correspondent schools
worldwide. Together these schools have trained more students for a career in
professional aromatherapy than any other. The International Society of Professional Aromahterapists provides through its international congress an important forum supporting cultural exchange and education.
