PURE ESSENTIAL OILS

Aromatreatments in Spas and Salons

Aromatherapy in Spas and salons
Clients seek a unique experience which will improve their sense of well being. A first step is to deal with common ailments which while not medical conditions are nonetheless embarassing or debilitating.  No persistent common ailment should be left untreated. Where synthetic chemical means fail clients find plant oils often record success although everyone is an individual and requires in Marguerite Maury's words a 'unique prescription' appropriate to their character, age and circumstances.
The most common conditions clients consult an aromatherapist about are stress, fatigue, lethargy, headaches/migraines, insomnia, emotional imbalance, grief, hormonal imbalances, menopausal symptoms, anxiety and nervous tension, water retention, muscular tension, poor circulation, cellulite, respiratory problems and depression.
Aromatherapy also finds traditional use in beauty treatment to maintain the appearance of the facial and body skin and to normalise particular skin types. Essential oils in creams are used to improve the appearance of acne, eczema, oily, dry and mature skin and to provide routine cleansing, toning, facial serum, facial moisturiser and night cream.
Of course clients like to take home the products they encounter in a spa which also make attractive gifts. These are packaged under vitality (grapefruit and lime), stimulating (geranium, lemon, juniper) ideal for cellulite and combating water-retention, nourishing (chamomile, sandalwood, geranium) especially beneficial to those with dry and sensitive skin, including people with eczema and psoriasis, muscle-eze (lavender, rosemary, thyme) and tranquility (ylang, lavender, rose) gently releases tension, leaving you feeling calm and composed.
There has been much progress in the base creams and lotions to carry the essential oils to create truly natural products with ingredients like shea butter, olive oil, sunflower and linseed oil. So much so that Sp is able to offer organic lotions, creams, shampoo, bodywash and body butter.
Aromatherapists also have practical massage and reflexolgy training and the use of hot and cold applications like hotpacks and cold compresses. Essential oils are also used in products for spa treatments like exfoliants, masks, facial and scalp treats, pedicures and manicures.

The ‘Care for’ range is a unique concept developed by Shirley Price Aromatherapy,
which enables you to care for yourself in your own home.  Shirley Price Aromatherapy
has created a range of unique blends of essential oils designed to address specific
health needs.

The ‘Care for’ range of pure essential oils should NEVER be applied directly to the skin.
The ‘Care for’ range can be used for massage by adding them to a carrier (15 drops to
50ml carrier oil/lotion) or alternatively you may wish to try the ready blended range of
massage oils/lotions.

Pure essential oils mixes are available in a 10ml size whilst the ready mixed lotions or
