Description
A topical tree which grows to 20m high with pale - green leaves and a hard shelled fruit. Incisions are made into the bark of the tree to extract the material which will make the oil. Characteristics

Extraction Method
The resin is 50% dissolved in benzyl alcohohol to make it suitable for aromatherapy purposes.
Country of Origin
Laos, harvested also in Sumatra the Sumatran Benzoin is not as refined an odour.
Precautions
Benzoin can have a drowsy effect, so if you know you need to concentrate on something it is best to avoid it.

Our Benzoin type is derived from Northern Thailand. Benzoin from Sumatra contains coniferyl cinnamate 55-70%. The Thai and Laos (Siam) derived Benzoin has a more refined odour.

Tea Tree and Eucalyptus. A really high reputation in their correct use so people start saying lets consume them on an everyday basis. Dont! koalas may munch on Eucalyptus but their livers are adapted. Ours are not and pets not at all.
