Description
The exotic rust coloured tree is a tropical evergreen with a fragrant bark and oval shaped leaves with white flowers and blue and white berries. Naturally it will grow to about 30ft but for cultivation, it is kept to about 6ft.
Characteristics
Cinnamon is readily recognisable with its fiery, harsh and spciy top notes with oriental undertones.
Oils to Blend with
Cinnamon blends well with frankincense, myrrh, orange, mandarin, benzoin, Clove, Coriander, Ginger, Grapefruit, Lavender, Orange, Pine, Rosemary and Thyme.

Precautions
At naturallythinking we only sell this Cinnamon Essential oil which is Cinnamon Leaf as the oil from the bark can cause severe skin reactions. We would advise using Cinnamon with care as large doses can cause convulsions. As with all essential oils avoid during pregnancy, but pay extra care to Cinnamon as it has been reported to be a abortifacient.
