2012 AROMATHERAPY DIPLOMA COURSE OUTLINE AND DATES
1. For students with prior learning - Level 3 A&P and Massage Qualifications
Practicioners can obtain a level 3 diploma in holistic massage, anatomy and physiology and professional studies prior to joining Shirley Price Aromatherapy Diploma class. In which case they are exempt Module 1 Therapeutic Massage of the 5 module Shirley Price Aromatherapy Diploma course. 2. For students with no prior learning the Shirley Price Aromatherapy Diploma course proceeds as follows
Module One Therapeutic Massage and introduction to aromatherapy blending is required. The 10 step Shirley Price Aromatherapy Massage is taught. The weeks ends with a session to make your own toners, cleansers, lotions and creams.

Anatomy & Physiology Level 3 must be obtained prior to Module Three.

Further theory and practical Anatomy & physiology learning will be delivered by the course educators to meet IFPA requirements.
Aromatherapy Diploma Modules One to Four Tutor Jan Benham MIFPA FFHT
January 16th through to 20th - Aromatherapy Diploma Module One, Next Module One February 2012. Module One runs monthly.
March 14th to 18th - Aromatherapy Diploma Module Two
May 16th to 20th - Aromatherapy Diploma Module Three
June 14th to 18th - Aromatherapy Diploma Module Four
August – Aromatherapy Diploma Module Five with Jan Benham FFHT MIFPA and Sue Jenkins BSc MIFPA. Practical and theory examination. With completion of case studies and essays the learning comprises a course of in total 10 months duration with 5 weeks classroom tuition to ensure the student emerges a confident practicioner.
The tutors of the Shirley Price International College of Aromatherapy prepare students for FHT/IFA and IFPA membership according to the affiliation of the tutor.
Practicioners with each organisation are recognised by the CNHC for registration.
