Eucalyptus is steam distilled from the leaves. It has a strong camphoraceous aroma, making it a wonderful decongestant. It is best known traditionally for its role in aiding recovery from coughs and colds. Eucalyptus is known to have antiseptic, anti fungal and antimicrobial properties. It is anti-inflammatory making it useful to soothe stiff joints and muscles.
Directions: Add 5-6 drops to a bath or vaporiser, for massage dilute in 10-15ml of carrier oil or lotion.
Warning: Do not use on broken or irritated skin. A skin patch test is recommended for those with sensitive skin. If irritation occurs discontinue use.
