Lavender essential oil is steam distilled from the fresh flowering tops. It has a typically sweet, floral and herbaceous aroma. Lavender is noted for its ability to stimulate the regenerative process and its particularly effective on damaged skin. The oil has a traditional reputation for helping relaxation and promoting a restful nights sleep, as well as being beneficial for period pains, aches and pains and the respiratory system.
Directions: Add 5-6 drops to a bath or vaporiser, for massage dilute in 10-15ml of carrier oil or lotion.
