Sandalwood essential oil has a rich, sweet woody aroma. It is steam or water distilled using the timber, inner heartwood. Sandalwood is a known to be antiseptic and calming, it helps to relieve sore throats and dry coughs. Helpful in caring for the skin, Sandalwood can also help in maintaining strong and effective respiration. The oil is also useful to help stress and insomnia.
Directions: Add 5-6 drops to a bath or vaporiser, for massage dilute in 10-15ml of carrier oil or lotion.
Warning: Do not use on broken or irritated skin. A skin patch test is recommended for those with sensitive skin. If irritation occurs discontinue use.
